BABY BLESSING/NAMING

What a blessing and a gift the arrival of a new baby is.  When you think of the whole process involved which culminates in that magical moment of holding a new born child, it's nothing short of a miracle.

Most families want to mark this incredible occasion in some way and many will of course opt for a traditional welcome linked with their own faith or tradition.

However, and increasingly in today's society, many couples are not aligned with a particular faith but equally they feel a spiritual connection with a higher source.  As an Interfaith Minister, I will work with you to create a joyous celebration that welcomes your baby into your family and which embraces your own beliefs.  It may be that you are in a mixed faith relationship and want to honour both traditions. 

The key of Interfaith is respect, integration and flexibility.

If you have other children already, it's lovely to involve them in the welcoming ceremony too and is a very good way of encouraging deeper bonding.   

A blessing ceremony is also a wonderful way to welcome an adopted child - no matter what age.

A wise sage once said:
