 Simply Divine Ceremonies

Rev. Akasha Lonsdale, ordained Interfaith Minister

I'm the Reverend Akasha Lonsdale, an ordained Interfaith Minister and Celebrant with many years experience in creating and conducting unique, personalised ceremonies for special occasions.  So whatever you are looking for - a wedding ceremony or blessing, civil partnership, vow renewal, baby naming or funeral/end of life celebration, I'm sure I can be of service.

What you want, when you want, where you want
The beauty of an Interfaith ceremony is that you can have what you want, where you want and when you want. The key is respect and flexibility - with the ceremonies I design for you reflecting your personal beliefs and those of your partner/family.

Spiritual rather than Religious, or maybe lapsed from your faith?
Typically the couples or families who are drawn to request my services are those who want to have some representation of the sacred in their ceremony, no matter how small. It may be that like many people today they consider themselves to be more spiritual than religious, or perhaps they are lapsed from their faith and therefore having a religious ceremony at a place of worship doesn't feel right for them.

Mixed Faith Ceremonies
With a marriage, it could be that their partner is from a different faith and they want an inclusive ceremony to honour both traditions. The reasons are many and varied but whatever your situation you can be assured of receiving a high degree of personal, professional and heartfelt attention to your needs.

Rev. Akasha's book "Do I Kneel or Do I Bow? What you need to know when attending religious occasions" will be of particular interest if you are invited to an unfamiliar faith ceremony, but of equal interest if you just want to understand more about major world religions.
